Balloon Bomb

Had this idea when I was talking to Jayne one day after her school. Her nursery teacher showed them some water bomb during their outdoor activity time, and Jayne was quite excited about it. So why don’t we do our own water bomb? Easy.

So I bought 2 packs of balloon, only $2 for 20 balloons. This has to be one of the cheapest fun I have planned for a long while. I thought filling the balloons with water is a easy feat. But I was so wrong, it took me a whole 15mins just to fill 20 balloons. The tough part was to tie up the balloon once it has been filled with water, and the trick is not to fill too much water and you have to let out the air at the tip so that it’s easier to tie up.

This is my master piece.

Decided to use the girls’ net racket to play some “balloon bomb” catch.

Mummy did her part in carrying the pail. A rare chance to show her power (can you see the biceps?).

Jayne lost the first set. But she is in good spirit. Sportsmanship!

Next up was a competition of catching the balloon bombs.

Joey going for round 2, not willing to accept her defeat. Haha..
The balloon fell out because there was a hole in the net. We have decided to graciously give her the point.

And the best way to depose all the balloon bombs… Smashing time!!

I think the girls enjoyed the smashing more than the games.

It was a great 30mins family time. Cheap and fun!
