Courtesy of InterContinental Singapore, we celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary with a sponsored staycation. The most amazing thing about IHG Rewards Club, we get to enjoy the club member exclusive privileges. This is probably the experience that made all IHG staycation so memorable.
Especially with my family together. After a few staycation, I can finally understand why more and more Singaporeans (us included) are so keen on having staycation.
The club member lounge offers traditional tea set for sale.
Love the old tea pots and decorations all around the lounge.
We had been offered the Family Bedroom, with 2 Queen-size bed, just nice for a family of 4.
Naturally the girls were overjoyed to have a huge bed to share with each other.
Why can I get this Lemon Verbena scented set? I’m not a “scent” type of guy, but this particular one really is quite nice and smoothes the nerves.
Since it was our anniversary treat from the organizers, they even prepared some nice touches in the room. Like the heart-shaped biscuits and flowers!
Every staycation’s highlight has to be the pool time for Joey & Jayne, regretfully this is probably the only time we bring them to any swimming place. Looks like 2015 goal is to get the girls some swimming lessons.

Back to the hotel room for a rest before heading for our tea break treat.
Tea break is served only at the members’ lounge, where it is quieter and you can have personal attention from the staff.
Joey took the chance to occupy all her free time before meal on the complimentary computer available in the lounge.
Time to eat! Look at the glorious snacks!!

Nice short break from the usual work, at a hotel that is nice and attentive to our needs. Looking forward to more staycations!
