Attempting to have a proper conversation with Jayne is sometimes so hilarious.
One afternoon, I was lying on the couch in the living room and Kless is cooking lunch. Little Jayne came bouncing (literally) happily and announced “Lime” is ready soon. That sparked off a very funny conversation for a boring afternoon.
J: papa, mommy is cooking ‘lime’
Me: what is lime?
J: lime 就是早餐
Me: oh… lunch..
Me: say again, lun..ch..
J: lime!
Me: mommy 煮这么菜?
J: mommy 煮两个菜
Me: 两个什么菜?
J: lime!
*repeat para 3-5*
Me: lunch is 午餐，不是早餐
J: lime 就是早餐
GIVE UP!
