Finally something that is bigger and better than the Underwater World since 1991. The S.E.A. Aquarium is the world largest aquarium with more than 800 species of marine animals and still adding. The aquarium is home to majestic manta rays, enormous goliath grouper, Napoleon wrasse, and other gentle giants of the sea.
The aquarium is separated into more than 10 different habitats, like Straits of Karimata & Java Sea, Straits of Malacca & Andaman Sea, Bay of Bengal & Laccadive Sea, Open Ocean, Arabian Gulf & Arabian Sea, Red Sea, East Africa, South China Sea, etc.
Check out the lively leopard and blue flasher wrasses.
There is also an interactive experience for the kids at the Discovery Pool.
As you move towards the Open Ocean habitat, you will not miss this amazing sight of sea jellies. To be honest, I have never seen sea jellies in brown or blue before. Definitely an eye-opener!
Even saw a humongous sea jelly (Moon Sea Jelly) which really looked like cauliflower.
Nor have I seen such a tiny but intricate sea jelly (Lion’s Mane Sea Jelly) with such long-tentacles.
Giant Manta Rays, found on in the Open Ocean. They can easily each at least 7 meters in width. One can really sense that majestic feel especially when you see it glide in water.
A few more photos of the different fishes & marine animals you can expect to see.
Highly recommended to bring your kids to this aquarium. They will love the cool and the space to run around while enjoying the beautiful marine life.
