Chinese New Year is probably one of the most important and favourite festive season for many. And it’s not just because of the Bak Kwa or CNY goodies, but because it is a season of sharing love and happiness. It’s a period of time for families and friends to gather and share lives and gifts.
Coca-Cola brings the sharing of happiness beyond the four walls of a home but into the community and across all race. With the hope of bridging the gap between the seniors and youths in Singapore, Coca-Cola placed interactive machines at Jurong Point Mall (a popular shopping destination for seniors) and youth hotspot Cathay Cineleisure Orchard. The interactive machines enabled generations from both locations to “e-meet” and put a smile on each other’s faces. The machine also allowed the participants to gift a CNY token to each other, which was delivered via the machine.
Watch the following YouTube video on how the Coca-Cola machines brought the two generations together.
To further encourage Singaporeans to create happiness for those around us, Coca-Cola has launched the #happinesscreators project. The project aims to inspire Singaporeans to create moments of happiness for others, and to share their stories online via various social media channels.
Create Happiness this Chinese New Year, share how you have created happiness for others on Instagram and Twitter and tag your posts with #happinesscreators. The best happiness creation story stands to win a 3D2N getaway to Hong Kong for 4 people!
