A Father’s Unduly Worry

As a father of 2 girls, I think it is natural that we worry a bit more than fathers with boys. Probably because girls are usually weaker, need more attention. I can’t guarantee that I will stop worrying for my daughters. But I know God is faithful and at times He will show me that my worries are unduly.

When I took these photos, I was just trying to capture Jayne playing under our block. But looking at it now, I felt like she is telling me a message. She has grown up. She can clear the obstacle (cross the longkang) on her own now. Maybe as a father, we need to grow up and let go when time is right.
