Thanks to an invite from Fidgets, the girls have a chance to learn about baking. This is not the first time for Joey but it was the first experience for Jayne. We were not sure how would she react or would she leave the class halfway. But I guess with her elder sister with her, Jayne should be fine.
For S$50.00, a child can have 1.5 hours of baking + unlimited play time at the indoor playground. Admission is free for adults and infant below 1 years old.
Joey learning the steps of baking chocolate cookies. With a keen observer just beside.
The girls will learn how to measure the right amount of flour and how to use the blending tools.
While the girls are baking, I took the time to explore the new playground. This is probably the largest indoor playground in Singapore, suitable for children of all ages up to 10, featuring dedicated baby and toddler play areas, party rooms and a cafe.
There are lots of space for parents to hang around while their kids attend the different classes.
Toddler play area.
One of the classes is Art & Craft Lesson. It’s S$35.00 for 1 hour of art & craft and unlimited play time at the indoor playground.
Some of the art & craft pieces on display.
One of the main reasons why parents will bring their kids here has to be the party rooms available. There are 3 huge rooms available for birthday parties or any type of functions.
Check out here for the party packages and rates.
Back to the girls’ baking class. Thank God, they are enjoying their time.
Joey trying her hands on breaking the egg and separating the yolk and white.
Then it’s time to add in the chocolate chips.
Stir it up nicely.
Wash your hands before the final step.
Create your own cookies! It looked so fun from outside, I wished I was in the class too.
Looks are deceiving. The small lumps of flour and chocolate chips may look ugly but in a while..
Chocolate cookies!!
Love it to the max! Joey the Baker!
We will be back to try out the playground area soon. Just a note, it only operates from 9am – 6pm. For more information, click on their Facebook Page.
