Having read about the Heritage Trails in Singapore, I have decided to bring the girls on a history tour around Singapore and we started off with the Civic District Trail II. Of course the trail is much longer, but we have only time for a brief 3 stops.
First stop - National Archive of Singapore.
Don’t think the girls or myself will be particularly interested in the documents. So just some photos outside.
But the red post box outside was too vibrant to be missed for the girls.
Second stop – Freemasons Hall.
If you ever read Dan Brown’s books, you will be familiar with The Freemasons. Didn’t know there is such a hall in Singapore.
Any idea what this symbol represents? Maybe we need Robert Langdon.
Kless’s way of saying we were here.
Third stop – Central Fire Station.
The oldest existing fire station in Singapore.
Just a few photos here. Read more on tomorrow’s blog entry =)
