This is an interactive contemporary art for children event. SAM presents a selection of artworks chosen for their imagination and interactivity. Discover how light make flowers dance. Watch fun animations from all over the world. Create your own 3D paper fruit and exchange it for a real fruit. Dress up life sized hand painted dolls in “Mummy Dearest”.
It’s a good place to spend a wonderful afternoon with your kids.
Joey was excited to check out what programs are available for her.
Mummy Dearest. A place for the kids to learn about “dressing up”. Joey was super excited to dress up the characters, I believe she would actually want to bring the clothes home if she could.
Jayne on the other hand is just happy to pose. Maybe when she is older bah..
Breaking the tradition – Mum in blue and Dad in pink.
Don’t you just love the colourful walls? An idea for the girls’ room in future..
For the older kids, this is for them to understand the power of lightning action. For Joey and Jayne, they were just fascinated by the changing images on the boxes.
Took these photos in a room that is totally white. Got a funny feeling that the girls are walking in heaven. Angels!
It ain’t a garden if you don’t get your hands dirty. Art & Craft room for kids. Choose and create your choice of 3D fruit, orange, apple, pear, banana, etc.. Both my girls are not up to the task yet and personally I don’t think they can sit still for 10mins to complete such a task. So they did what they are best at, drawing! And what better chance to draw on some walls and props without parental objections..
Walter the rabbit. This is the mascot and symbol for the entire Art Garden event. You can purchase some of the merchandise too.
My model of the day.
